I’m no rich momma I can’t afford a family weekend at Disneyland, but I need to take the children out somewhere, so hubby and I decided to watch a weekend animal encounter show at Malagos Garden Resort here.
Malagos is just a 45-minute ride from the city, since it was Sunday, no hassles on the road. The show started 10:30 AM and it lasted about 30 minutes. At first the kids were enjoying seeing Bianca the albino carabao, Troy the ostrich but later got bored, and eventually disappointed since some of the animals, especially the birds got grumpy and did not cooperate, the parrot did not raise the flag, did not close the window, I was wondering if the animals were being paid on-time with their TF, thus lazy to do their job (aww!)… if I were Pong Pagong I should get my check, LOL! But the pet handlers said sometimes it happens birds have their mood swings, hala!
I love their dancing staff, but I think the management should improve the show more, like more animals, more interactions.
Sharing some photos of the encounter,

My kids always look forward to going home since its ‘milk bar’ buying time, it’s a frozen delight made of pure cows milk that comes in durian and chocolate flavor, of course the mom has favorite too, and it’s this one, the Durian and the Chocolate Milk. These Dairy Best products are manufactured by Federation of Davao Dairy Farmers Cooperative. It’s a must try when you’re in Davao.
So there, that’s what happened on this side of town on weekend. Thanks for dropping by.
